Artist Martin Li Wah Lever has lived in Hong Kong for most of his life. His "Above/Below" collection of Hong Kong-inspired "Groundscapes" was launched to critical acclaim 2 years ago. For the artVplastic campaign, he has creates a limited range of works title "Above the Beaches" - a series of strikingly covered groundscapes inspired by some of Hong Kong's best loved beaches.

He explains the reason for his involvement in this project: "There are many problems in our world, and many causes. But the growing problem of plastic waste in our seas is one that hits home hard for me, living on the beach in beautiful Pui O, Lantau and seeing the problem firsthand far too regularly. The fact that this problem can be solved so easily with simple behaviour change makes it a surmountable challenge and one that I feel compelled to help overcome. If my art can move people and help inspire change, that's a good thing right?!"
